The Chatham Art room is always a hive of activity with students being exposed to a diverse range of skills, such as painting, drawing, construction, textiles, ceramics and much more! The study of different artists remains an integral and vital feature of our Art program. Recently Prep students have enjoyed working with clay. The students in Years 1 & 2 have enjoyed Ken Done’s bright colours. The students in Years 3 & 4 have found Sidney Nolan’s works on Ned Kelly very interesting. Year 5 students have been busy making three dimensional masquerade masks, while Year 6 students are setting up a printing block ready for some frottage printing.
